David and Nat met playing Atari in Kindergarten. Hence the name.

Nat co-founded Kettle, the fast-growing AI-driven Insurtech protecting people and society from climate change. He was named one of Time100’s most Influential People in AI. He has previously been a co-founder/founding team member of BRCK, Wayfinder, and FellowAI. In 2012-13 he worked in The White House’s Office of Science & Technology Policy and was the first Chief Data Officer of USAID. He was the CEO of the open source software company Ushahidi. Prior to that he worked on large scale clean tech projects in Asia. He has angel invested in and advised numerous startups and organizations over the past decade.

David is the co-host of Acquired, one of the top Technology podcasts in the world with millions of downloads and over 800,000 subscribers globally, ~20%+ of whom are current company founders. Before transitioning full-time to Acquired, he had over a decade of experience as a professional VC across all stages from seed to growth at Madrona, Meritech, StartX and Wave Capital.
